Drawn from the 1940 and 2000 classic “Fantasia” comes the 21^st Century Symphony Orchestra’s series of “Disney Live in Concert”.
The “Fantasia” series featured several animated short films which were drawn to accompany classical masterpieces. Perhaps the most famous episode shows Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice with the infamous scene of the wildly out of control brooms, mops and buckets.
Equally famous compositions like Beethoven’s “Pastorale”, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Respighi’s “Appian Way” from the “Pines of Rome”, Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue and Stravinsky’s “Firebird” makes this show a delight for the whole family!
